Harbor Insurance Agency was founded in 2020 by Bryan Emanuel with a simple idea — Eastern North Carolina homeowners and businesses deserve an insurance agent who actually lives in their community, understands their risks, and works for them — not for one insurance company.
Before starting Harbor, Bryan worked at NC Farm Bureau, where he learned the insurance business from the ground up. But as a captive agent tied to a single carrier, he couldn't always find his clients the best rate or the right coverage. Going independent meant he could shop multiple carriers and give honest, unbiased advice.
